Vice President, Emergency Services & Care Management, Carilion Clinic

Paul Davenport is the Vice President of the Department of Emergency Medicine, Emergency Services, and Care Management for Carilion Clinic health system located in Southwestern Virginia. Carilion Clinic is an integrated health system with 6 hospitals, 40 ambulance/3 helicopter transport system, and significant ambulatory family & community network. His area of responsibility includes Emergency Medicine Residency Program, Operations Command Center (Transfer, bed placement, & transport communications center), Patient Transportation, Level 1 trauma center and 5 community emergency departments, 6 site Emergency Physician Management, and System Case Management, Social Work, and Utilization Management teams. He collaborates with the digital health team and partnered with the Chief Medical Information Officer on digital transformation. In addition to his current role, he served from April 2014 to February 2016, as the Interim Chief Nursing Officer for Carilion Clinic.

Paul’s key strengths center on leadership with his dyad partner (Chair of Emergency Medicine), strategic development/planning, operations management, operations center development, and leadership development. Paul is noted to be a change agent with re-organization and transformation of Carilion’s Level 1 Emergency Department, service line formation of Carilion’s 5 other emergency departments, building an internationally renowned Operations Command/Transfer Center, expanding Carilion transport network, and strategically redesigning Care Management to a system level.

Executive Director of Provider Support Services, Intermountain Health

Nan serves as the Executive Director of Provider Support Services for Intermountain Health, an integrated healthcare system located in Utah and Idaho. She is part of the Intermountain Virtual Hospital team which cares for patients throughout the Intermountain West and beyond, through telemedicine. Nan is responsible for services that support access to Intermountain Healthcare facilities and providers including Intermountain Patient Placement/Transfer Center, and hospital facing TeleHealth services. Prior to her current role, Nan spent 11 years as an Operations Officer at Intermountain Medical Center, the flagship facility for Intermountain Healthcare. Intermountain Medical Center is a 504-bed Level 1 Trauma center offering a comprehensive range of quaternary healthcare services.  With over 30 years of both clinical and healthcare leadership experience, Nan has a proven ability to create vision and direct operations in an integrated healthcare system.

Greg Moran, RN, MBA, NEA-BC

Clinical Executive, TeleTracking

Greg started his career in healthcare as an EMS and has been a nurse for 14 years, with most of his time spent in critical care and flight nursing. Before transitioning into hospital operations, Greg was the Chief Flight Nurse for a medical helicopter and critical care transport team.

In his immediate past position, he helped develop and manage a command center for a six-hospital health system in Pennsylvania. In that role, he participated in decision-making from construction through process improvement while co-chairing the patient throughput committees at three hospitals, which focused on a multidisciplinary approach to throughput.

Currently, Greg serves as a Clinical Executive at TeleTracking, supporting clients in achieving optimal results.
